The IACH North America online homeopathy course is a complete, 3-year training in classical homeopathy, taught live online for students in the USA and Canada. It is a full professional path, not a short course or a remedy-product training. It is built on the teaching of Professor George Vithoulkas and ends with the IACH Diploma in Homeopathy and eligibility for the CHC exam.
At a glance: 3 years · live Zoom classes · 1,000+ hours · supervised clinical training
How the live online classes work
You study in a live virtual classroom, not from a video library alone. Each class combines:
- Professor Vithoulkas’s lectures and cases, which you watch together as a class
- Live teaching and discussion with North American instructors, before, during and after each lecture
- Case analysis where students work through live and paper cases together
Classes run on Zoom with cameras on. You see and talk with your instructors and classmates, and attendance counts toward your grade. The current cohort (2026–2029) meets Thursdays, 5–9 PM Arizona time, plus the first Tuesday of each month, 5–9 PM Arizona time. The schedule for the next cohort is confirmed on admission.
Cristina Horvath (IACH DIHom, CCH) is the primary instructor throughout the three years. She has more than 20 years in classical homeopathy. The faculty also includes Dan Horvath (IACH DIHom, CCH, RSHom(NA)) and Latika Jaggi (BHMS, IACH DIHom). Meet the faculty.
What you study each year
| Year | You’ll learn |
|---|---|
| Year 1 — Foundations | Hahnemann’s principles, the Organon, introduction to Materia Medica, Levels of Health, case observation |
| Year 2 — Clinical development | Advanced Materia Medica, prescribing strategy, Levels of Health in real cases, supervised case-taking, internship clinic |
| Year 3 — Practitioner readiness | Extended clinical hours, case follow-ups, internship clinic, independent case management, ethics, US healthcare law and the business of practice |
Across the program you cover 179+ remedies in Materia Medica and repertorization with Vithoulkas Compass software. Full curriculum.
Clinical training, online
Online doesn’t mean theory only. Over the three years you complete at least 500 clinical hours:
- Up to 360 hours observing and analysing Professor Vithoulkas’s cases, including follow-ups and prescribing strategy
- The IACH Student Internship Clinic, held online, in years 2 and 3
- At least 140 hours of supervised casework: 10 chronic cases you take yourself, each with two follow-ups, supervised by a CCH-certified or BHMS supervisor
How much time it takes
Plan for one 4-hour live class a week, plus a monthly Tuesday class. On top of that come weekly homework, reading from the core texts, and, from year 2, your supervised cases. Each semester you need 70% or higher, based on homework, attendance and participation, and semester exams.
